Personal space!

I went to walmart for a quick run. I needed something to cook for lunch and since I already had sauce and meat I went for a pack of pasta. I went to the self check out and this EXTREMELY RUDE lady...no i won't even be nice enough to call her a lady, that shrew, invaded my personal space.

I'll admit i've had my personal space violated MANY times at Walmart by fellow customers that don't know about personal space and tend to stand right beside me or have their buggies push up to me. Quick side note: that will not make me move fast. If anything that will piss me off more and make me take my sweet a** time.

No, but this lady went above and beyond the personal space breaking point. She Pushed my buttons. Jodi checked out before me and I had to wait for the computer to go back to the front page screen. There is nothing I can do but wait, it does it on it's own. She gets really close to me and says "WHAT'S WRONG!!??" "um it's going back to the main screen"

It finally goes back and I scan my one item (know she has a full buggie which she is starting to unload). I'm getting my money out and she asks me "ARE YOU DONE??" I can't do anything but stare at her because at this point i'm so taken aback by her rudeness I don't know what to say. Then she does it!!! She pushes the payment button.... Um excuse me maybe i wasn't done, maybe I was thinking about buying some gum(i don't chew gum but it pissed me off that she pressed the button) that was not her choice to make.

UM EXCUSE ME IT IS MY TURN AT THE MACHINE WHEN IM F'ING DONE YOU CAN DO WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT BUT UNTIL THEN IT'S MINE!!!

She gets fed up with waiting on me even though i'm only taking a second (one item). She pulls her buggie to another one..and then a man comes up again violates my space and begins to unload his items on the little tray thing.

I am completely pissed off at how rude people can be. DON'T touch my buttons when i'm checking out, i'm smart enough to press them myself!! GEEZ!

BACK OFF PEOPLE, arm length apart rule!

Gray Area??

I thought the other day about how some times I will tell someone something just because it's the shortest possible answer. It's not that I don't have the time to explain, I just feel like people wouldn't want to listen to the lengthy version.

Point one: I'm claustrophobic, I do not like things around my neck. I feel like i'm choking. This came around after I had a horrible ear infection. I don't know how the two are related but I started having reactions to necklaces or turtle necks after that.

Found Here

Point two: I'm claustrophobic, but I don't mind small rooms. I actually kind of like small cozy rooms. Mind you I wouldn't want to be locked in a room but being in a small room is okay.

found on google

Point one: I don't like candy or sweets, I just don't have a taste for it. I also don't like the stickiness.

found on google

Point two: once a year I get a craving for a crunch bar, usually in the cold part of the year.

found on google

Point one: I am afraid of clowns, i keep looking away from this photo I despise them. I think this came from when I was younger, elementary school, they told us...don't talk to strangers, don't get into the CAR with anyone you Don't know. So We had a Christmas parade and a clown in a small car pulled up and asked if i wanted to ride the rest of the way of the parade... WELL F**K No!! I cried and screamed till he got back into his evil little clown car and drove off like a crazy drunk.

found on google

Point two: I can totally look at this and not think clown....it's actually cute!

??Walking??& Funny Word Friday

Since school is out and I have some ME time. I'm trying to be "healthier" so I can sleep better.

Somethings i'm trying to do differently

Instead of tea with breakfast I drink Orange juice

I wait till dinner to have tea

If I eat a snack between meals I opt for a watermelon slice, no salt, and a glass of water.

And going for a walk...

Walking has been the hardest...and not because of just getting out and doing it but because of Dogs.

People aren't keeping their dogs on a leash, behind a fence, or in their houses. No offense to anyone who has a dog, I've had many in my life, but some dogs only like their masters and NO one else.

I have a great fear of dogs now because last summer I was attacked by a dog, I was walking to my car and the neighbor to my grandmother let their dog loose and he ran for me, I tried swinging my bag at it and nothing. I yelled at it I tried to slowly back to my car.

And what pissed my off the most was a man who works for the city (water, gas, electrical) he literally looked and got into his truck and drove off. Left me with a vicious dog.

F**K YOU DUDE!!!

>.> sorry kinda got away from the subject. The problem is that there are some streets I have to avoid (ever since the dog thing I know where almost every dog is with in a 4 block radius of my house) and it makes it hard to walk. I'll be about to walk down a street and remember then have to back track. I went walking and only walked....maybe 5 blocks (with hills). It just annoys me that I can't just walk without having to remember what streets are safe or not.

Also I think i'm going to do a funny word Friday thing until I run out of funny words...

Today's funny word is....

Flabbergast:(v) to be overcome with amazement

Top Favorite Actresses

I'm posting this because yesterday I was watching Underworld 3 and the person I watched it with thought the girl from the first Underworld was the same person. She's not...just for the record. I like the girl in the 3rd movie much much better!! So I got to thinking about my favorite actresses in general.

There not in an order from least to greatest I'm just listing.

(Photo Below: Dame Judi Dench)

Most of you might not recognize her in this picture but you'll know her best from her part in 007: Casino Royal as M.
Liked her best in "As time Goes By: Tv Series"

(Photo Below: Dame Maggie Smith)

Most noted for her role as Professor McGonagall in Harry Potter.
Liked her best in "Hook", "The Secret Garden", and "Divine secrets of the Ya Ya sisterhood"

(Photo Below: Cate Blanchett)

I believe she's most remember now for being in Benjamin Button.
Liked her best in "The Missing" and "The Lord of the Rings"

(Photo below: Judy Carne)

Most of you might not remember her but I really enjoyed her best from the 1969 tv show Rowan & Martins Laugh In. That was an unbelievably funny show. She's the one that said "Sock it to me" all the time! I use to have this channel called Trio. Most amazing channel EVER!!! YOU HEAR THAT TV COMPANIES, BEST CHANNEL EVER!! They took it off my network...grr.

(Photo Below: Diane Lane)

I'm not sure what's she most noted for but her most recent movie was Killshot.
Liked her best in "Under the Tuscan Sun" and "Must Love Dogs" I haven't watched it yet but I would like to see the movie "Untraceable" which she stars in.

(Photo Below: Stephanie Leondias)

She's a relatively new actress. I liked her best in "Mirror Mask" as the main character Helena. She looks much younger than she is, 24.

(Photo Below: Rhona Mitra)

This is the lady that started it all!! She plays in the Underworld 3 movie and that is where I like her best. Can you believe this lady thinks she's got a fat butt...for shame!

(photo below: Claire Forlani)

She's been in dozens of movies but I like her best in "CSI: New York as Doctor Peyton"

Vintage!

I enjoy some vintage, but I don't really think my idea of vintage is the true meaning? Not sure...but I like things that make a room homey. And most of those things are from long ago. Check them out!

I really like the bright red suit case/luggage.

(At happydayvintage)

My grandmother has one of these and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed using it when I was a kid. It is so cool! Just in case you don't know, it's a flower shifter.

(At heidijo1)

I enjoy clocks, My mom and step-dad bought an old pocket watch and gave it to me a few years ago. I'll upload it later with the story.

(At OldisNew)

(Also At Happydayvintage)

My family use to have a typewriter and I used it for school papers before we bought a computer. I loved it, but for reasons I can't remember we sold it. The only down side was there wasn't a backspace, you either continue typing like that mistake never happened or you pull out the paper and start over.

(Also At Happydayvintage)

I do prefer these brooms to others, I guess because it was what my grandmother used, so would I. I just think these would be awesome, they look so rustic and homey. I think the big difference between these and the ones you buy at the store is the handle is real wood.

Silence

Last night around 1am I watched a silent japanese film on TMC (turner movie classics) The photo below, I was lucky enough to find, was from the movie I watch.

(photo found on google)

The story is about a painter who wondered around for 100 years (never aged a day) to find his "princess" who happened to be the girl in the photo above. She wasn't a real princess but she was the reincarnation of her. Her name was Umi-Ko. The man painted while he search and he would only paint dragons

(photo by KH2rac found at Flickr.com)

After he found his beloved he lost his ability to paint. Umi-ko was so upset that she had taken away his gift that she "killed her self" and left a note behind for him. He was so depressed and in turn tried to kill himself but failed. In his deep depression he painted a glorious picture of a man and woman flying on the wind and dragons flying around them. It sold for a lot of money and umi-ko's father was very happy.

(Photo by Wili Hybrid Found at Flickr.com)
He still missed his love and after he sold his painting he went back to the house and Umi-ko came through the door. He looked at her as if she were a ghost. But she wasn't. She had left and waited for him to start painting again. After his ability came back she did too.

At first I was really into the story; Love, art, and lost. But after I found out that Umi-ko didn't die she just tricked him into painting out of depression and then them making money off the painting...I was a little irritated by it. I felt bad for the guy but he seemed all well with it. He even gave her a big hug, which was a lot back then.

I enjoyed watching the old silent film, it was a complete change. I didn't get the name but I found out it was made in 1919.

Happy Mother's Day

My mom works a very hard job with long hours, that might be in the day time or night depending on the job. I did a polyvore of the two complete opposite parts of my mom's life. When she's away for months on a job site, left, this is what consumes her time. But on the right, when she's home, is how she really lives.

When we were younger Mom, Jay, and I would sing to these songs in the car or when we were cleaning house.

Nightmares...

I bought a book after Cuileann gave it a review on goodreads.com with one word. "Wow." I couldn't pass up a book that she described with one word, now could I?

Book: The Book Of Nightmares by Galway Kinnell

I think my favorite lines (book of poetry) are...

Chapter 3 poem 7

"but when the crone
held up my crystal skull to the moon
.....
.....
you will feel all your bones break
over the holy waters you will never drink"

Chapter 4 poem 2

"......O God, I thought. My breath came short, my heart opened. O God I thought, now I have a demon lover."

Chapter 6 Poem 4

(My personal Favorite Line in the whole book)

"....That there shall be one acre in the world where the kissing flower may bloom, which kisses you so long your bones explode under its lips."
