Michael Franti and Spearhead caught my attention with their new song "Yell Fire!". It's a reggae rock song about pretty much everything that is going on in the world today. Michael is an outspoken supporter of human rights. In 2000 he decided to stop wearing shoes (unless needed i.e. on a plane) I do not know why or what it signifies other than him giving up a want/need.
